Sortation Systems

Sortation is critical to fulfillment & logistics systems and can be used in multiple ways  -
  • Sort to Dock (Cases and Packages)
  • Cross Docking
  • Order Picking
Multiple Types of sortation technologies are available, selection of right type of sorter, the sortation logic, and other support equipment is based on the needs of the project -
  • Throughput required (2,000 pieces per hour to 30,000 pieces per hour or more)
  • Size of package (from small accessories and CDs to large cases and bags)
  • Weight of Package (a few grams to 30-40 Kgs)
  • Conveyability of the Product to Sorted
  • Fragility of the product, does it need delicate handling
  • Number of primary sorting locations required (we do not recommend PTL based secondary sorts)
  • Need for future expansion
  • Space available within the building
  • Quality of bar code information
  • Need for additional information like weight and volume of products
ThinkLink works with world leading sortation system providers to deliver turnkey sortation projects and has the ability to support the most complex project requirements. We offer the following Sortation Systems to our customers:
